rick harper does a talk at ccf where he describes a network, a connection, between different groups of students who have passed through the ministry. it's a complicated network and his point is to show how everything is connected, everything happens for a reason, God has a plan, he's using us to help others.
i've heard the talk a few times but the weight of the concept never settled on me until last night. here's the day in outline format:
A) Sleep
1) three hours of sleep
2) after three day stint where total number of hours slept = 18
B) Work
1) Front Page News Little Five Points
a) I work Sunday mornings at FPN, one day a week for a few reasons irr. here
b) Sunday brunch is the busiest shift of the week
c) The restaurant fell apart and for about two hours i was
i) greeting
ii) seating
iii) bussing
iv) setting
v) working first rounds
b) I quit.
C) The Night Goes downhill.
1) Lock keys in car.
2) Realize I got $350 stolen.
3) Witness to domestic violence case that still has me messed up in the head almost 24 hours later.
For those of you interested in more detail, or how the opening paragraph ties into all this, you're going to have to a bit patient...right now i must sleep before my delta interview at 7:30am.
much love.
